Why am I late but not pregnant?

I’ve got a doctors appointment on Tuesday but I just thought I’d ask on here if anyone ever had the same symptoms and needed up having fertility issues 😫 im 8 days late and both hpt are negative. This isn’t the W first time this has happened it happened about 6 months ago, I drove myself insane! Has anyone else had this and either still been pregnant or had an underlying issue?
