Side effects from invasive test ?

Hello my baby is possibly going to have Turner Syndrome. I’m interested in the invasive test they have like the amino one but I know some side effects can be bad. I’m only 13 weeks and a few days. I’ve read she’s lucky to even have made it this far. So I don’t want to do anything to put her even more at risk. 
I’m just curious about the test and how your experience was.
Did you get the test done? 
Did you have any side effects after? 
Did the test confirm your at risk results? 
Did you do cvs at 16 the amino later? Or just one?

I have a friend who has it, too, and has a normal life...married, 2 kids adopted, works, has friends, went to college etc. From what I understand, it doesnt tell you the degree to which the baby has it eg if it's severe or not, just a yes or no. And someone with turners can still be very self sufficient. I personally wouldnt do cvs, and only amnio if termination is a discussion. But I wouldnt terminate over a turners diagnosis unless perhaps ultrasound shows the baby is so deformed eg poor organ development that she will have no quality of life despite medical intervention.

I’ve never elected for an invasive procedure during pregnancy but I only know the risk from what you read with his her chance at miscarriage. My mother in law had a daughter with turner’s syndrome (which is guess only effects girls so I guess you already know your having a girl). Her daughter has a 504 at school for learning help but her mom got her therapies ASAP to help her not be as behind in learning. She does take hormone injections till she hits puberty. Otherwise she’s a very healthy happy child. I wouldn’t stress about additional testing if your not willing to go through the possible worse case scenario kids and adults can live a good life with Turner syndrome there are actually quiet a few celebs who have it.
