Should I be heavy bleeding 5 days after ovulation?

I have been on this app a long time and normally I don't do things like this. But I am getting fed up, it has been 3 almost 4 years that I have been ttc.. I am only 25 it should not be this hard, as I am told.. on this app it is usually spot on, I was supposed to be ovulating, I had some brown discharge which is not normal for me during this time. As the days went on I felt like small cramping but nothing that lasted ... about a day ago I started to heavy bleeding. I did have intercourse , because come on now it's my fertile window. It went from a light brown spotting to , clotting and red . Like a full blown period. Idk what to do if it's implantation bleeding? Has anyone had experiences like this? Please help!

Implantation bleeding is very minimal and pink. If you’re having to use a pad I would just assume it’s your period. Also, have you gone to the doctors for help with ttc for so long?

This doesn’t sound like ovulation spotting or implantation bleeding which are both supposed to be very light and quick and also are pretty rare. Do you track ovulation other than the app? It could be that your period came way earlier than expected and that’s what the bleeding is. That would be my first guess honestly. If you’ve been trying for a long time with no luck even if your period comes “on time” your ovulation might not be happening when you expect. I would definitely try some Lh strips like easy @ home or pregmate and see what’s going on with that.
