I had a c section exactly a week ago, when I was brang into the recovery room afterwards they were surprised to see I wasn't bleeding at all. I didn't bleed even a spot for 2 days (I was in hospital for 5 days due to a complication in baby), some midwifes were confused by it and others not so much. Then after the 2 days, my baby finally latched on for breastfeeding, I got very painful cramps, stood up after feeding and blood literally dropped out of me, there was soooo much that I literally made a puddle around me on the floor, I had 2 doctors and midwifes checking me over like it was an emergency, but they said all was good. I then bled on/off for 3 days (rest of the hospital stay) and it was only while I was breastfeeding/pumping, since I've been home though the passed 2 days, I'm not bleeding at all anymore, even while feeding, I had some clear/brown discharge but very very minimal. So I basically just bled for 3 days on/off and nothing, it was pretty heavy though when I did.

When I had my first c section 4 years ago I bled heavy for 12 weeks straight, was anemic and kept being prescribed different sorts of pills to try stop it so I'm soo confused about this PP bleed.

Does it sound normal?? I'm not in any sort of pain at all, recovery is going extremely well too.
