It's not like anyone will know. But like someone else said, they will over charge you. It'd honestly be cheaper to get a simple sofa from walmart or ikea.

I wouldn't be embarrassed but please be careful if you're on a budget. The final cost will likely end up much higher. I'd choose second hand before choosing rent to buy. I got a really nice, relatively new couch for $50 on Facebook marketplace - and I'm nowhere near wanting to replace it. A lot of my furniture is second hand - either direct from the previous owner through marketplace or from second hand / charity shops.

I would be embarrassed that I paid that much for junk furniture. I would much rather buy second hand at a thrift store or garage sale, etc. Rent to own places are always a scam.

Yikes. Don't do it. Get some used furniture until you can afford (or even get) new furniture. Supply chain issues make it tough right now. 
My sister just bought a $600k house and has completely furnished it from Facebook marketplace. Looks really nice too!

I wouldn’t be embarrassed. I’d be cautious bc my brother worked at a place like this. He said if someone doesn’t pay, they repo the furniture, and put it out for sale right away. They don’t clean it so you never know what’ll be in or on the furniture. I’m sure not all places are like that but just be aware of what you purchase.
