How’s everyone’s August babies?

Question

It’s been about 16 months since our babes were born, how’s everyone doing? What kind of things do your babes like to do?
My son was born Aug 5th, he still only says momma, he’s finally coming out of his insanely picky eating stage, he has an obsession with playing with hangers, he hates his sleeves touching his palms and hates the snow. He also refuses to wear shoes and tolerates socks lmao 
We also just welcomed our second last month, he doesn’t acknowledge her😂

August 2nd here and baby boy is amazing in every way!! I got so so so lucky with him. He’s huge. 31lbs and wearing 2-3T in everything. He talks an insane amount. Telling us to hurry up, here you go, let’s go, and he’s been letting us know when he’s going “pee pee” and “poo poo”. He also loves cleaning his “wee wee” during diaper changes. He’s been okaaay at being a big brother. He likes to steal her bottles and paci’s but “shares” his sippy and his Mickey Mouse stuffed animal with her. He also likes to rock and swing her but he’s just sooo violent that we’re having to really drill being gentle into his head. He gets quite a bit jealous so we all try to make sure he feels loved and included still. He loves our morning walks in his wagon, loves climbing into his own high chair, and wants to put his on socks and shoes even tho he can’t 😂
Also, he turns up the TV volume using the sound bar when she’s crying. 😐 I could go on and on about him. He’s honestly just an awesome kiddo and I couldn’t be more thankful for him.

My baby was born on Aug 3, she only says mama, dada, and dog. She tries to mimic when I teach her other words but she tends to forget. She can now walk independently and could follow instructions. She has no problems when eating and she is very cheerful.

Mine was born July 31. She’s walking well (for about a month), is always hungry and eats more than my 4 year old, and sleeps awesome. She only says 5-10 words but comprehends a lot and signs for the important things (food, water, etc). She also walks to the changing table when she has a poopy diaper. She loves her big brother fiercely but also hates to share her toys. She is obsessed with cocomelon. And her new thing is taking off all her clothes and attempting to take off her diaper.

August 31 and we are waking independently but still working on pick ourselves up off the ground without any assistance. My son is a garbage can and will eat anything 😂 My son hates to nap but always has. He’s super friendly and social and not shy at all. He smiles at everyone especially cameras. He says mommy, daddy, nom nom, ball, and we are working on a few others. He is great at directions and knows what stuff is and loves to copy people. He’s 26 pounds and 32 inches tall ☺️

Aug 6 baby boy … knows many words (mama, dada, dog, turtle ,duck , bubble, eyes, teeth, nose, knee , eat, all done, more, up, down, book, read, night night , hi and bye.. and many more )  he follows instructions well, put your shoes by the front door or take these clothes to your hamper. Very curious. Loves to go outside . Loves dogs. So friendly, waves and says hi to anyone that he sees. He copies anything you tell him to say. Loves to dance. Loves to eat. Always smiling. I am truly blessed.

Born July 27. She signs a bit since she only has one word - “yes” that she uses occasionally. She is a human garbage disposal and can get super hangry. She enjoys playing with her brother and not listening when told to do something. Thankfully, she sleeps through the night beautifully but is also accident prone and chipped her front tooth a few weeks ago. Last night she tripped and fell onto the door jam and has a scratch across her entire cheek 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mine was Aug 5th as well! No good consistant words with meaning..mama or dada or hey will slip out though. Big babbler. He started daycare a month and a half ago. Hard at first, but now he marches in there like a boss. Still gets shy around new people, but warms up quicker. Eats most things and a lot of it. Was having a long streak of not sleeping through the night until I stumbled upon the problem... He doesn't like footie pajamas. I think his self soothing requires access to his toes, LOL. He was finally weaned from breastfeeding just after Thanksgiving and it was relatively easy.

Born Aug 10th, he's very emotional 😆 he's standing up for himself to his big brother which is great! He's got maybe 10 or so signs and he can say dada, wawa and baba. He technically can say mama but refuses to now. He loves to be outside, go on car rides, read books and eat food. He's a huge mommas boy, I'm 10 weeks with our 3rd so hopefully he handles it pretty okay. He'll be 23 months when the baby comes.
