Can anyone explain??
So yesterday (at 9-10 dpo) I got injured at work and had to go to urgent care. While there they discussed medication to put me on and I mentioned that my husband and I were TTC and that I had about 5-6 days until my next period. The nurse said that before they would put me on any medication they needed to do a test. I mentioned that it was still pretty early to test and she said “Our tests are accurate up to 14 days before your missed period” how would that be possible? The test was negative and my heart was broken. I still don’t see how a urine test could be accurate up to before I even ovulated??? I planned on testing at home in about 3 days but after their SUPER MEGA ACCURATE test, I just feel defeated. She was so cold when she announced to the whole office that “Your test was negative so you can go.” She just didn’t realize that she’d completely crushed me.
