Any mom’s experience Marginal cord insertion?

Had the anatomy scan today and baby boy is fine! They did say that there is marginal cord insertion, so the cord is not in the middle of the placenta. Just wanted to see if any moms have had this or have any experience with it! Thanks!

I do! I found out at my anatomy scan 2 weeks ago that I have one this pregnancy. My little guy was measuring only in the 13% for size at 19+3. I have a growth scan on the 30th to check again. She said it can correct itself by the next scan which is what I’m hoping for! She also said it’s not uncommon for babies to grow a little slower with marginal cord insertion for some pregnancies, and then other pregnancies it makes no difference at all. The biggest concern is it turning into velamentous cord insertion which is dangerous.

I found out today that I have a marginal cord but the sonographer just said to wait for my OB to tell me what it means. Following for info!
