Do you have to believe in war
To support our troops?
I noticed on a recently thread a lot of assumptions, stipulations and generalizations made about military personnel..... For instance they're all cheaters...? Really? A cheater is a cheater wether he's military or not, sorry your one friend knew a girl in high school that she stalks on Facebook and she got cheated on by her military boyfriend...things happen, military isn't at fault for that and not all military men cheat....the other being that they're ruthless killers....or kill for sport.....or just kill and it's wrong....I promise the majority of military personnel don't even see combat....some don't ever get deployed....and if someone kills a guy trying to kill our soldiers are you really gonna dismiss him as a bad person?...PTSD....post traumatic stress disorder....do you see the word military in there? Have you read anywhere that it is only military? I bet 1 in every 5 people you meet has PTSD of some kind and has never been in the military!....my point is...the military doesn't make everyone who signs up mindless killing machines, the military does not dictate their faithfulness...those men and woman signed up for it yes...but they don't get to choose where they go and what they do....they do their job and 99% of the time just want to make it home to their families and not even be recognized as a soldier....most don't want you to call them a hero, or walk up and constantly say thank you to them, they're normal people like you that chose a different path in life and just want to be treated with the same respect as a regular civilian....you don't have to support the war to support our troops, family members and loved ones that our out there just trying to make it home.....rant done....
