Plain rude or overreacting?

So last night my husband and I were talking and he asked me “if we didn’t get married and you were single, where would you be in life?” I told him I’d be in an apartment raising my 3 year old daughter. I asked him the same question and he said “if I was single right now, I’d be partying and fucking other girls”…..It didn’t sit right with me when he said that, especially since we just got done having sex…..like why would he be thinking that? He said it in a heartbeat with no problem at all. Maybe I’m overthinking but I found it very rude and gross. It’s also made me question everything, makes me feel like I’m not good enough for him if that’s what he wants to be doing if he was single…..
