Possible pregnancy after ectopic

I took 3 test that all came back positive one of them being a digital. I have a history of ectopic pregnancy so I was able to see a doctor asap. He was a new doctor and I will not being going back to him because he was rude. He did a vaginal sonogram which he was not able to see anything because I am only about 5 weeks. He then told me that the urine test I took was very light and there is a chance I am not even pregnant because it was so light but I thought a positive was a positive? He then proceeded to tell me that everything i am feeling is probably just my period coming. I am confused by the whole visit and I am looking for a new doctor.
