Lazy partner

I have been with my significant other for 6 years now. We have had our ups and downs and arguments over the years. We got into a huge fight at the beginning of this year and I broke up with him for 6 months. He was trying so hard to fix things and get me to talk to him. Came to my parents house to talk to them and everything. Said he wanted to get married and that I am the love of his life.

After considering all of my options I decided to give it one last try. We immediately hit it off all over again when we saw each other after so long. Shortly after I find out he was looking for properties to buy. So since I was back in the picture he changed his plans from buying an apartment building to a family home. Wanted to start a family and all that good stuff.

We where planning on getting married and applying to get our marriage license and I started buying things, like my shoes, a small bouquet and I Custom ordered a simple dress for a small intimate ceremony in a garden with an officiator. No reception.

Meanwhile we where viewing houses almost every other day. After viewing 16 houses we found the one that was a good fit for us. I’m a single mom and have a 13 yr old daughter so this is a huge milestone for her and I.

We put and offer on the house and it got accepted right away and with no problems. Inspection was great house is in good condition and we couldn’t be happier. I soon start to pack my stuff and get ready to move to our new house.

Shortly after while in the process of packing and being so busy with the purchase of the house and signing documents, meetings, and packing I find out I’m pregnant. Super excited and over the moon. Didn’t expect it at all because we had been trying for a long time and it finally happened.

We finally move in our new home and my daughter and I couldn’t be happier. Everything was great at first settling in a new house. Decorating and making it our own.

Shortly after I start to notice how lazy he is and all his true colors come out. I mean I knew beforehand he was a little lazy but not to this extent. Mind you I’m pregnant and I need all the help I can get.

He leaves his dirty socks all over the bedroom doesn’t pick up his dirty clothes. Eats at the table leaves a mess and I have to pick up after him. Doesn’t help me with anything around the house when he is home. To his defense though, he is a trucker. Works all night and sleeps all morning and afternoon. I left my job so I stay at home now. I tell him can you throw out the trash? He gets annoyed. Takes it outside in the backyard and leaves it there and doesn’t even throws it in the trash bins. We have a huge yard and the walk to the trash bins are all the way on the other side of the property and has to go thru the garage to throw it. Or use the broken side door. That hasn’t gotten fixed yet. 🙄

I have a huge list of things that needs to be done in the house and nothing gets done. Like I bought a letter and key holder. Told him can you put it up for me? He says yea but I have to use a drill so another day. It’s been sitting in a closet for months. Told him can you put up my paintings on the living room wall. Oh yeah another day. It’s still sitting by the wall in the living room for months.

Previous owners left the old stove and I have my new stove I bought when I was still living on my own. It’s still sitting in my dinning room. I said when am I going to get to use my stove? Oh yeah tomorrow we can have someone take the old one and install your new one. He has been saying that for months. Like he is soooooo lazy! I need advice! Is your husband, bf or significant other lazy?!? 🙄😩😒😔😭
