Our little girl is here

Artemis

It was not an easy, straight fwd pregnancy… with placenta praevia, and the waiting for the placenta to shift up. When it did, it only did minimally, but just enough for the obs to allow us to take the risk for vaginal delivery at minimum distance between placenta to the cervix.

We were also relocating to another country, in the midst of covid… my husband, along with my son who is under 5 yo… the stresses of 2 wks long quarantine and adjusting to a new place, a new life… so much stress and break downs throughout this pregnancy, i feel sorry for my baby to have endured mama’s sadness and stresses from inside the belly.

By week 38, my feet were so much in pain, and blood pressure went up and down irregularly, with blurred vision. We decided to have induction.

Induced at 39 wks + 2 days. Breaking the water to induce labor, but it was blood instead… end up losing a liter of blood throughout the whole ordeal.

But when labor kicks in, and its time to push, it was such a quick delivery! 4 minutes of pushing then she came into my arms…

This is a picture of our bundle of joy this Christmas
