Dating someone in recovery

I’m dating someone in recovery. It’s new to me. I like to drink every once in a while and he obviously doesn’t drink at all. Sometimes I wish he could drink because we can’t go out to certain places I’d like to go to cause it makes him uncomfortable.

Any advice??

He has been sober for a year and 6 months. And we have been dating for a month.
