How long does you OPKs stay positive ?

Mine is only at it's darkest point for maybe 8hrs does this not seem short? Or is this normal please help

12-36 hours after a positive OPK.

It's normal. Everyone ovulates for different lengths of time. Sometimes a day, sometimes a few hours. The ovum is still viable and can be fertilised by sperm for up to 24 hours after ovulation.
