Why do people write she/her?

Is this so people know what gender you indentify as?? I don't get why people need to put this on posts/bios. Sorry if I'm offending anyone!

That's exactly why people include it. Since there are various options for pronouns, volunteering yours ensures people use the proper ones (or have no excuse not to). Making it a normal part of conversation also opens the doors/normalizes it so everyone feels comfortable sharing their preferred pronouns, which are part of their identity just like their name.

Those that use she/her or he/him use their pronouns so that those who use they/them feel more comfortable and “normal” using there’s. It’s a way of supporting those with different pronouns and showing them there are people out there who get them, understand them, and support them. It’s a good thing to use your pronouns. Everyone has them. It just helps people identify you by the right gender which is always a good thing :)

Yes. It’s a way to be inclusive and a way to let people what your pronouns are so that they don’t inadvertently misgender you. It hurts no one and benefits countless people.

I don’t know. The explanations that I’ve heard don’t make any sense. 
It’s my understanding that if you are biologically a male/female, but prefer to be called the opposite then you use pronouns. But, I’ve seen woman use “she” when clearly they are a “she” so I’m really confused as to why it’s relevant. 
I just refer to people without using pronouns to avoid all the unnecessary complications.

That is englihh... You have to determine who is who and if you don't want to offend anyone, who doesn't identify themselves like that 🤷‍♀️
For example a lot use "pregnant person" instead of a pregnant woman, because, well anatomically only woman has a uterus, but the person might not consider herself/himself woman.
In my language there is only one word for he/she/it. And it has been always weird to me to get used to these in other language, I always have to specify he or she, but, maybe a I don't even know who...
