My mom doesn’t even know that we are TTC because of how many comments she makes on how we don’t need kids, 35 is too young for me to have a kid (meaning I need to wait a decade before she’ll approve I guess?) and she wants me to do better than she did. Like before ttc these comments flew over my head, but now it just seems to hurt more. I am still early into trying but I already feel disappointed that whenever we can conceive, she’ll never be supportive. I even want to hide it from her because I know she’ll give me the silent treatment which I just don’t need or want. Is anybody else dealing with a parent like this? How do you deal with it
