Hi all, this is my first post. And I’m first time mum.

My boy is born in mid Sept, and so he’s 14weeks now. He hates tummy time from the very beginning, he scream hell the moment he’s flipped into tummy position. Luckily, he doesn’t reject it since this month, but each time only last 5 mins or less before he cries. But to me it’s better than nothing.

However, he still doesn’t seems to have any idea how to roll over/turn to his side, not even trying. He’s just in his tummy position, looking around, then suck his hands, then cry.

Have I delayed his development from the beginning because when he screamed, I’d just carry him back?

Also, he still doesn’t reach out his hands to try to grab the items on the playgym. He just stared at the things and occasionally swing his arms in uncontrolled directions. Is that normal for 3mo?

Any babies of the same age here? Mummies, can I know your babies’ development milestones as of now?

My boy can smile and laugh socially now, he would smile or laugh looking at himself in mirrors, and love to be in sit up position, though he can’t sit independently yet. I would say he’s neck is quite strong, just a little wobbly at times. But he seemed not able to control his arms consciously yet. And he has no indication of knowing how to roll over at all.
