I am currently working at a care home as a carer and have been wanting to change jobs and applying for a job at a pre school but I just found out I’m pregnant.

I’m only 4 weeks so it’s really early, it was an accident (condom broke) but welcomed accident.

My fiancé says I should not tell them I am pregnant.

But I’m thinking of not saying anything at the job interview but if they offer me the job to mention that I just found out I’m pregnant and just ask if that would be an issue.

I live in a Nordic country so the government pays mat leave so it’s not a big deal to the employer but I just don’t want to be dishonest.

And they would have to find another staff member to fill in for me for a year while I would be on mat leave.

What do you think ?

Should I listen to my fiancé and not tell them until I’ve started working around 12 weeks ?
