Has anybody been diagnosed with afib in here? I was diagnosed back in October and I had also just found I was pregnant. The doctors put me on dilitizaem (some like that) and asiprin once a at but I had to stop taking it cause We didn’t wanna hurt baby. So now I’m on metoprolol succinate and I feel like it’s making my palpitations worse. I never felt the this often before I started taking this medicine. My thyroids are normal. I just had an echocardiogram done. So haven’t gotten results for that yet. Heart diseases does not run in my family. Yes I’m overweight actually I’m 26 years old and I’m 404 pounds. This is the biggest I’ve ever been. But I’ve always been a big girl. I’m scared at his point because everyda my heart is relying funny to where I never felt this way before I started taking this medicine. Yes I had episodes of palpitations but they were sporadic literally every now and then. During my ecg today I watched as she was doing the ultrasound and I saw where my heart skipped beats or when it bested twice and it literally scared me. Anybody in here went thru this and ended up getting the help they need? Anybody got any advice?
