Dryer smells like outside?

I don’t know how to explain but after I dry my clothes it smells like ozone or like it just rained. Like electricity. I dry my babies clothes in there and don’t want it doing any harm. Someone please help.

Static electricity can smell like ozone. Are you using dryer sheets to prevent static? If no you might be over drying your clothes, which will also cause static. Make sure you empty the lint trap every load and have the dryer vent checked for built up lint.

If it smells metallic or like it’s burning, have your dryer checked by a repair person. Sounds like something is just wrong with the machine.
