Does it drive anyone else crazy?

No one seems to be able to agree when the first trimester is over. Some say 13 weeks and others say 14 weeks. In all of my pregnancies I have considered 13 weeks to be 2nd trimester, but it bugs me that none of my apps are on the same page 😅.

My dr says 13 weeks is second trimester. She said if you take 40 weeks and divide that by 3 trimesters you get 13.333 making each trimester roughly 13 weeks.

So technically 12w1d-12w6d is ENTERING the 13th week.
You actually begin your second trimester at 13w0d, HOWEVER, at 13w1d you're PAST 13w because you have entirely completed 13 weeks of pregnancy and entering the 14th week.
I think that's maybe where some of the confusion comes from

Due dates are estimates, so you really can’t say exactly...12/13 weeks whichever one. Doesn’t really matter.
