Yes, I realize the middle name is very much a boys name but this is our last baby and since we’ll never get to use my husbands name as a boys middle, we want to use it for a girls

I don't know if this helps, but I used to have a crush on a guy named David and I was trying to come up with a creative feminine version of the name. I spelled it backwards and added an "ia" to the end to get "Divadia". I was going to name my daughter Divadia Jane 😊

I choose Abigail because Abigail was an Israelite woman in the Hebrew Bible married to Nabal; she became married to the future King David after Nabal's death ! It was his second wife:) I love king David & the name ❤

I love it! Don't let anyone cast shade on you and your husband's names for your babies. Besides, I think David is a perfect name for a girl. Exhibit A, it means beloved. Exhibit B, most people know the name David from the Bible. David was the smallest brother, from the smallest tribe, all his scrawny ass was in charge of was being a shepherd. Then God chose his to be king of his(God's) own people. The smallest person in a family of the smallest tribe of a people not supposed to have a king at all- CHOSEN TO LEAD! Definitely not something David had ever dreamt of. Just had greatness thrust upon him. Anyways, I think its an awesome name for a girl!
