Newborn doesn’t startle go loud sounds

My baby is 6 days old and she does not startle or wake up to loud noises. We have 2 golden retrievers and they bark really loud when someone knocks on our door or hears a strange noise and my newborn just doesn’t react to it at all. She wasn’t able to get her hearing test at the hospital because she was too alert and moving at the time they said so they set up an appointment for January. Has anyone else gone through the same thing and baby’s hearing be ok?
