My daughter will be 4 next month and still hasn’t grasped potty training 🙈

(We tried all the potty training methods like the oh crap one abs 3-day potty training but nothing)

We take her often and try to stay very neutral about it because we don’t want to pressure her. I say things like “Before we go for a walk let’s all go pee” @ I’m making you lunch, let’s go pee and then you can eat!” sometimes she goes no problem and sometimes it’s a huge argument!

I’ve tried incentives like stickers and treats but it doesn’t really work.

If I forget to take her she will pee her pants. Rarely she will run to the potty but most times she goes in her pants and continues playing until we notice it and get her changed. ( when I say pee I mean fully pees! Undies, pants and floor are soaked.)

We stay calm and remind her to go to the potty or tell us when she has an accident.

Sometimes when I have to pee I’ll say “oh no I have to pee, what do I do??” She’ll answer “run to the potty!!!” And I’ll say “ but I want to keep playing my games!” And she reassured me that I can keep playing after I go pee so she know what to do.

She’ll be starting school in September and I don’t know what to do anymore!

Anyone experience something similar??

I’m going to talk to her doctor at her 4 month check up to see if she has any suggestion.
