Breast pumps for smaller chested woman

As well as any other breastfeeding item recommendations (nursing bras) . I’m a size A and while my bras are getting a little tight I don’t think I’ll move up to a B if so just barely. Anyways I’ve seen some recommendations in general but wanted to hear from those who are around the same size as me.

Flange size is really what you’ll focus on rather than breast size and the size of your breasts also has nothing to do with output so keep that in mind. My breasts didn’t change cup sizes but were more full than flat.

These pump and nurse bras are the best. As far as a pump goes you really can’t go wrong with a spectra. As others have said it’s not so much your breast size as it is having the correct flange size for your nipples. You can buy those little circle rulers to measure. Most ladies are not a size 24/28 like the pump comes with

It doesn’t matter on breast size! At all! It’s all out nipple size. Nipple size equals flange size. Breastfeeding and pumping has little to do with breast size. 
I liked this hands free pump. Inexpensive and a good backup to my spectra!
My breast stayed the same bra size.

Your breast size has little to do with finding a pump. It has far more to do with your flange size. Which is your nipple and can change during pregnancy as well as while you’re breastfeeding. I went from a B to a D so dramatic size changes can and do happen. Especially when your milk comes in. I use a Willow with size inserts.

I used a spectra pump mainly and had a medela that was fine too but had to be plugged in. Whatever you end up getting you will probably need a smaller flange! Get with the lactation consultant in the hospital before you go and ask them to tell you what size you need. If I ever have another kid I would love to do one of the wearable ones like Elvie or willow but I’m not sure what the reviews on that are from smaller chested women. Interested to hear feedback those who have tried them. Also don’t be surprised when your boobs deflate to even smaller once you stop breastfeeding 😫 They bounced back a little after about a year but not by much.
