Itchy vagina after birth?

I’m 1 week postpartum and I’m a little itchy around the opening of the vagina, is this normal or does this mean infection? I did tear a little but I didn’t get any stitches since it wasn’t a big tear

It can be due to skin stretching as well.

Could be just healing from the tear. However if u get a smell that's not right or discharge that's not ur normal, or if the itching gets to much as ur OB
