Newborn smelled like a fish tank

I know that's super weird and specific but I've always heard of the "baby smell" being intoxicating.

I hate to say it but I didn't like my newborns smell at all. Fresh out of the womb he smelled like a clean fishtank. Sort of fishy but mostly outdoorsy? I dont even know how to explain it.

I was the ONLY one who smelled that. My mother and husband said he smelled great.

I didnt have any sort of infection or anything and because I had a planned induction I made sure I went in squeaky clean down below for his arrival.

I definitely feel like I missed out on that wonderful smell bonding experience thing everyone talks about.

Am I alone or has anyone else's baby not smell good to them?
