Wellbutrin?

Hey ladies. I was wondering if anyone could share experiences with Wellbutrin. I struggle from anxiety, depression and OCD and I had a baby a month ago and PPD has been rough. I’m terrified of medication but my OB sent me a script to pick up and I want to feel better but my fear has me rethinking it. This one seemed to be the best with no weight gain for most people so that’s why we thought this would be best.

You will feel sooooo much better !! Give it a couple weeks , you’re gonna be like , why did I wait so long to get treatment !!? You’d get a broken bone fixed right? If you had diabetes you’d get treatment right? So this is the same

Wellbutrin changed my life. I started taking it after I was raped at 16. I was in therapy but my anxiety was so bad and I started to develop some type of OCD. My therapist said it was some type of perfectionist thing. Can’t remember exact details since I’m 30 now. But we tried other medications and nothing was helping me. I became depressed, anxious and seriously would have a panic attack when someone moved something to the wrong place. It was intense. 
When they finally tried Wellbutrin - I’d say within a couple weeks - I was a totally different person. My anxiety lifted. I wasn’t feeling depressed and didn’t cry if someone moved a jar of pickles to the wrong side of the fridge (yes, I literally cried and had a panic attack over that one day). 
I stayed on Wellbutrin until I was 21 and then decided to go off of it. I don’t remember why but I felt ready and my therapist helped. I haven’t needed anything since. But I do know that if I ever need something again, I will be asking for Wellbutrin.

I took it and loved it however after 3 weeks I had a grand mal seizure and they said it was from the medication so I had to stop it. I’ve heard many people also say this medication has caused them to have seizures so be careful.

I use it with Prozac too. It helped with the worst of my anxiety. Didn’t make 100% but it helped me feel more like myself

I loved it. No side effects for me.

I took it for a bit. It made me jittery and eventually I developed a rash from it so I stopped taking it. Was the least favorite of the 5 antidepressants I’ve ever tried 😂

I feel it didn’t do much.. and I would sweat super bad on it. And when I spiked the dose I became emotional. I’m on lexapro now and I feel better.
