Does that count as cheating?

So lately I have had this gut feeling that there’s something on my boyfriends phone, he will never leave his phone unattended however managed to do so, I usually would never invade his privacy however I had that gut feeling telling me to look… first thing I did was go on his instagram and he had been searching several girls, his news feed was practically just instagram girls too. I confronted him, he denied but once realised I saw he admitted and just said ‘sorry it won’t happen again’. I now feel like he’s just looking at other girls thinking god knows what… but I’m just confused on what I should do and how to act/ 
By the way!!! He is so protective and extremely jealous, instagram is very touchy subject and he doesnt like when I have my photos on public etc.

He doesn’t like your photos on public because he’s afraid that some dude is doing the same thing as him with the girls on he’s searched up. He’s guilty, that’s all it is. 
I personally wouldn’t count that as cheating more so disrespectful but typically situations like this continue to get worse.

We don’t have social media and we aren’t secretive with our phones either. But if my husband ever did something like this to me I wouldn’t consider it cheating but I would lose a lot of respect for him for disrespecting me. Yes men notice beautiful women! They’re everywhere so we can’t control their eyes and their thoughts…. But going out and searching is something different. He WANTS to look at women. He WANTS to have thoughts. There is a difference there. It is very disrespectful.

We have full access to each other phones. It Def depends on the relationship. We wouldn't call that cheating bc we're both looking. However, he should control what you post that taking away your right to express yourself. It's not health and you should set some boundaries

did you look at other things other than instagram? and you can tell if he has messaged those girl if you click on the arrow on a post on his feed like you're wanting to DM it to someone (make sure it's not a private account that posted it) it'll pop up who has has dm'd most recently!

The only way you're gonna find out what he's doing or thinks is by talking to him and asking him about it. Be open about how you feel and what you'd like to know and just make the conversation casual. You'll get a better response without the pressure. Try not to rush it but make a point to him that you wanna know.

Okay u didn’t find anything but him lusting ig, but red flag is he’s protective of his phone, for what reason? If there’s nothing to find, he wouldn’t be hiding it. I’d randomly say, “can I see your phone?” Don’t give him time to clean that phone before u view things on it. If he can’t be honest with u, then b honest with yourself. Leave him if he can’t b confident on loyalty to u and has to feel THAT protective of his phone. My bf doesn’t care about his phone because we have already been over this. The convo was, no people at all in any way fashion or form. Lust is disgusting and can lead both genders to do things that escalate thru habit of not maintaining one’s relationship balance of respect. By studies of psychology, if you give into the behavior, you’re giving into the behavior of needing something by the law of the human indulgence. RANDOMLY have that talk and see what that man is doing on that phone, because there’s something. I can promise u that. Treat yourself good, and don’t settle for less that what u deserve. He’s not the only man in this world, other men don’t hide things on their phone from their girls. It’s not normal In a relationship, so don’t let a little boy tell you otherwise when a man would not.
