12 week old never sleeps during day

Does anyone else’s baby never sleep during the day? My baby hasn’t slept during the day for more then 20min while I’m rocking him since he was 2 weeks old. He also does not sleep through the night for more then a 2 hour block.

All I keep seeing on these apps is babies should sleep 16 hours a day, bullshit mine sleeps like 6-8 hours in a 24 hour period,

I don’t even know how he functions or manages to stay awake.

This is making me low key want to die, I’ve kind of had enough, I can never do anything during the day at all, except sit and feed, and rock him to sleep for hours and hours on end just to get a measly 10-20min of sleep out of him. I don’t eat because I can’t stand listening to him scream, so I just rock and rock and rock him all day, I’m fucking constipated cuz I’m just eating biscuits, bread and bananas because they are quick.

The paediatrician says nothing is wrong with him. So does my doctor and midwife, “he is just a clingy baby”. Cool, that’s not helpful. Why the hell doesn’t he need sleep. I need sleep, I need to put a load of dishes on and washing and keep the house clean and work ect, but all I do is hold him all day, I am so fucking touched out.

Really needed to get that off my chest.
