Miscarriage? Bleeding?

Question

Please share your experiences (if your comfortable with it) with miscarriage/first trimester bleeding. I had one a few years ago and I don’t know if I’m remembering differently but what I’m having now seems different! 
Please share how long it lasted, when it started, how long it was heavy for etc

Im sorry for your loss, & that you are experiencing this again. 
Ijust had my first mc, I found out on 12/6, nothing happened until 12/19 I started light bleeding & then the next night I woke up at 2 am with extremely painful cramps and back aches. And I started bleeding a lot I was up the entire night from 2-10 am passing blood clots and large amounts of blood just about every 15-30 mins I was having to run to the bathroom. I guess I just wasn’t prepared for how painful the natural process is, I was crying on the bathroom floor multi times from the pain. That only lasted that night tho thank gosh. And then I had a follow up two days later where my doctor said I was actively passing so he went and pulled the remaining clots and stuff out right there and then did an ultrasound to make sure everything was gone and I bled and cont to pass clots for a few days after. I just had a follow up on Monday to check my HCG levels to make sure they are going down. I’m currently still spotting a little bit but only when I pee.
