Miscarriage/ectopic

Hi mamas,

I’m Natalie. Second pregnancy. My first was normal and had no bleeding or cramping. He is 8 in March.

Now I’m 6 weeks 3 days. Sunday I started bleeding. Monday I got blood work done and HCG was 1926. Tuesday I started major cramping so went to the ER. Blood work had barely risen to 2000. We figure it is a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy as the vaginal ultrasound showed no intrauterine pregnancy. Wednesday blood work shot it to 3310; got my hopes up. Yesterday’s blood work just came back and decreased to 2610. Pain and bleeding ceased Tuesday night. I am spotting but it looks like old blood. I was hopeful and now crushed all over again. Anyone else experienced this?
