Any advice would be really appreciated

My 4 month has a fever of 99.1 and I called the hospital they told me I should watch him unless he gets to 104.0 than go to emergency room but he has red spotting all over his face and he’s coughing, sneezing, and having a bunch of snot what could he possibly have?
