How to slow milk flow while breastfeeding?

Hi eveyone,

Do you have any tricks on how to slow the milk flow while breast-feeding? I tried laying down on my back and having the baby on my belly but I don’t feel like this position is very comfortable for me. I like to sit and breast-feed, having the babies belly touch mine. Do you have any tricks on how to slow the milk flow in this position?

I don’t want to use the breast pump because I don’t have a lot of milk.it’s just in the beginning of the feeding a lot of milk flows out at once.

Sometimes I would have too much milk in the beginning of the feed and my baby would choke on the milk.
