Hospital/Coming Home outfit?

Anyone have some recommendations of an outfit to bring baby home in? Pics are welcomed! I know there’s a bunch on Etsy and Amazon but I was curious what other people do!

My girl was preemie so we didn’t have too many preemie clothes to begin with. Definitely didn’t have time to order a “fancy” preemie outfit. 😂 I was just so happy to be bringing her home after a week in nicu, it didn’t matter what she was wearing. 
Here’s her in a simple ssleeper in her giant car seat 🥺 she was barely over the minimum weight of 4lbs on the car seat.

My point is, you might buy something specific you think is perfect but then it might not fit. Like do you buy newborn or 0-3m. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t overthink it. You will probably be so sleep deprived and excited to go home, you won’t get that picture perfect outfit moment. 
Etsy is the best option, though!

Honestly I don’t even remember what we had our son in when we took him home.

My son was just in an honest co sleeper but the newborn size was too big on him. I’m bringing three for my daughter because I couldn’t decide lol

I didn't do anything fancy. I just brought mine home in jammies from Target.
A friend of mine got her little one an outfit with her baby's name on it from Etsy as a going home outfit.

Mexican here… idk know for sure if it’s a Mexican thing but in my family we dress them in yellow cause it’s supposed to bring good luck

My son spit up all over his “going home” outfit as soon as we got him in the car seat. So with any future baby I know I won’t care as much 😄 lol have a few back ups!!

This is what I did when I took my daughter home. I’m currently 26 weeks with my second and because we don’t know what we are having I have a couple options from carters.
