Squirming during sex

So I’ve been with a couple people it I’ve never considered myself “sexually active” and I never liked sex before I met the guy I’m with now. I though I was sexually broken until him tbh. Sex is great and all but I don’t think I’ve orgasmed yet. Every time things get good I push him away because it’s a lot of pressure and I don’t want him to stop but my body can’t help but stop him. It’s really intense pressure that builds up and it’s good but it kinda hurts at the same time. Is this normal?
