Breastfeeding Success after No Supply

Hi, all! We are TTC for #2 and, being the overplanner I am, I’m even looking at our future breastfeeding journey.

With our first, we latched within the hour of delivery and fed on demand. She lost weight in the hospital but not crazy. Went to a BF class at 4 days old and they told us she lost too much weight and to start pumping/supplementing.

I took fenugreek, ate all the oatmeal, all the things but never got the “super full” milk coming in experience. I usually pumped 8-10ml (a third of an ounce!!) per session after feeding for 15-30min. Never more than that. Every 2-3hours. Did that for about 9 days before it broke me mentally. And switched to formula solely at 2 weeks.

I want to BF so badly with my next. Any body have tips or success stories if your milk didn’t come in with a first??
