Should I wait or go in sooner!?
NOT pregnancy related injury! I’m 20 weeks but I can’t even tell you how long ago (weeks, maybe even months) ago I was laying in bed and my dog (huge Great Pyrenees) hit me just right in the nose. His claw had gone in and up my nose and he had hit me pretty hard. It was a complete accident and he really didn’t mean to. Instantly my nose started pouring blood. Filling up toilet paper and it took about 15 minutes to slow it down enough to where I didn’t have to hold something to it. Well then for a few hours after I was constantly spitting up fresh blood. I honestly have no idea how hard exactly he had gotten me but a few days after my nose was tender and felt bruised, along with feeling like there was a cut inside of my nose. Since then every day there’s been blood from that nostril if I blow my nose or get a booger( grows I know) always just mixed in with mucus. Well it’s been hurting and burning since it happened. I didn’t really think much about and thought maybe he had hit a nerve or something in my nose and it’s just going to take awhile to stop hurting. But! I tried looking in it and couldn’t see anything. My husband suggested last night that I use my ear wax removal tool, it has a small light and camera. I put a new head on it and looked around in my nose. And to my surprise! There is a HOLE way up inside of my nose by the bridge of my nose. And bubbles are coming out of it. It’s most definitely a hole but I’m not sure where it leads, maybe my sinuses? I honestly couldn’t tell you. I know I clearly need to go to the doctor if I have a hole inside of my nose that hasn’t healed and burns but the question is when. I have no one to watch my daughter today or this weekend really. But Monday I may be able to get someone to watch her. If not I’ll have to wait until Tuesday. Do you think this is something that needs to be seen immediately? I mean it’s very concerning but then again I’ve had it for weeks without knowing so a few day should be fine right? Pictures below
