Laying Down after Sex?

When TTC, do you lay down for like 15-20 minutes or go to the bathroom right after? Does it matter when TTC?

The old wives tale says to lay down after. I honestly think that it's more of a peace of mind thing. Women don't play a huge role in actually getting pregnant so I feel like by laying there we are convincing ourselves we did something to help. That's the way I look at it. With that being said, I lay there for like an hour 😂

I don’t, I always pee immediately to prevent uti esp with having sex so frequently

First time ttc and laid down for at least 30 min after each time. We BD for 13 days in a row. I ended up getting a UTI and am currently on meds for it. I am 6dpo and am very much symptom spotting. Taking it easy now because my symptoms can very well be the same for AF!

It doesn't matter. I go to the toilet immediately.
Sperm gets to wher eit needs to be in seconds.
