Just curious! Hubby & I are thinking of trying again in a couple months. When son is 9mo.

My daughter was 9 months when I got pregnant with my son, and they are now 2 and 6 months. We want a third, but I would like a little bit bigger of an age gap. My daughter still needed me so much until she was almost 2, and now she is far more independent. I would like my son to be 2-2.5 when baby number 3 is born (if we are indeed blessed again).

This is my second. I got pregnant with him when my daughter was about 19 months. My husband really doesn’t want another, but knows that I do, but I know we’ll need to wait longer this time, maybe 3 to 4 years, when he feels more ready.

I got talked into getting my tubes tied due to high risk pregnancies. I wish I hadn’t because we want another one and ivf and surrogate is a lot of money up front.

Our son and Daughter are 16 months apart (pregnant when our son was 9 months). I didn’t find the transition from 1-2 difficult at all. I love their age gap so so much! People say 2 under 2 is terrible but I have to disagree personally. 
We are undecided on a third. I am open to the idea and my husband is happy with our 2. We have a boy and girl and they are both happy and healthy- such a blessing. We are an active family and we always like to be out and about, taking vacations, hiking, etc. with 2, we can each take one. Lol. We’ll see but I am open to the possibility!

I have 3 children and they are 2.5 years apart. In my experience, an age gap of 3-4 years is idle, especially when transitioning from 1 to 2 kids.  A young toddler is very dependent on you still and does not have a buddy to play with. A toddler that is a little older, 3+ communicates much better, potty trained, etc. transitioning from 2 to 3 kids is really a breeze compared to 1 to 2 because the two older kids play with each other giving you more opportunity to spend time with the newborn that really needs most of your attention. The amount a toddler grows from 2 years old to 3 years old is astonishing! They are not babies anymore and really are these little people that are becoming pretty independent and want to help and are much more easy going. Just my opinion though!!
