Today we tried to give my baby soaked mixed nuts (almond, walnut and brazil nut). We crushed them and made puree kind of thing. And after 4 or 5 spoon my son got hives arounf mouth and eyes. I suddenly stopped it and gave him lots of water and put cold water. It went away. He was fine except itchy eyes during hives and after that he is totally fine. i read the brazil nut is high in selenium (92 mg) And should introduce to baby after 1st birthday cause baby need aroun 2mg. . We tried to call pediatrician but didnot get any response. Can it be allergy or selenium overdose?

Note: we were giving almond and walnut since he was 6 months now he is 9 months . The only new thing was brazil nut.
