Do you wash bath towels after every wash?

My brother washes his towels after every use. Technically the towels aren't dirty if you've just got out the bath or shower?!

Okay so first off that's absolutely not true you can wash your body and still have bacteria left behind it sure there isn't dirt on it. Also whenever you're drying your body off your microscopically shedding dead skin. So no your towels are not technically still clean showering and using it.

We get a fresh towel every 3-4 showers and wash when there are enough for a full load. They aren't technically clean after 1 use but washing after every shower is ridiculous

Ugh everyone saying towels are full of dead skin, ew are you people not exfoliating in the shower? We all shower daily and wash towels once a week in HOT water to get them clean. We also don’t use the same towel every time and they are hung to dry after each use. Do you wash your sheets every night? They aren’t any less clean than towels!

The moist is gold for bacteria to grow in and you've just scraped dead skin cells off your body fresh out of the shower.
I don't do it after every bath, I will admit that. But I'm not keeping them for weeks for sure 😅

No.  I change them every 5 days (unless one falls off the rack and my cat or dog decides to curl up in it).  I have enough to get through several changes before I throw them all in one load on hot.

Nope. Once every two weeks maybe. I usually use towels when I am washed and clean already, and we airdry them on a rack on bathroom, so there is no "wet" bacteria buildup there also.

New bath towel everyday for everyone, new hand drying towel kitchen and bathrooms, kitchen rag and face cloths daily too!

Of course because it’s dirty! You’ve used the towel to dry off your body meaning whatever is left that you missed in the shower comes off on the towel. 
Plus I throw my towel on the floor when I’m done drying my body with it to dry up whatever water got onto the floor. I would never reuse a towel that hasn’t been washed first.. it’s cleaner to air dry than to reuse a dirty towel.

They aren't clean after you use them. Your body isn't sterile. We each use 2 towels per week and wash them on Saturday.
