Is it weird to keep a handful of cards given from family members?

I literally have kept a handlful of birthday and valentine cards from family members. I specifically have one from my Grandma and Nana who passed away years ago. I was just thinking I’m such a hoarder.😹

I keep a few from each of my closest family members. I love how each person has their own hand writing and I don’t want to forget it when they pass. I kept a few notes from my great aunt who just passed away and when I found them a couple days ago, it was nice to see her handwriting. I’ve kept a few from my aunts&uncles, my grandparents, my siblings, and my husband. I don’t keep every single one though. Just ones I thought were a little extra special. 
My mom has tons of cards from my dad when they first started dating and even after they got married. She saved Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, birthday cards etc from him and my sister and i found them a few months ago and they were sooo sweet to read 🥺

No, I have a few special cards from loved ones. Is probably have more if I didn’t travel and move around so often.

Every year I receive cards for every holiday that applies to me from family members. I recently started to throw out the year befores. Say I got a birthday card from someone last year and this year I get one from the same person I throw out last years and will keep this year (if they pass I will keep the last card I received from them, for each holiday etc just so I don’t have “too many” cards laying around. 
My grandma recently passed and for the last 2 years before her death I’ve kept her cards b/c I knew sooner or later she wouldn’t be around. I look at them from time to time and tear up 🥺 I even got a card for Mother’s Day and I’m not even a mom yet but since I have a dog she felt the need to give me a Mother’s Day card. I will forever cherish our memories and the last cards I have from her or anyone close. Many memories, their handwriting, even jokes and lots of sweets notes in the cards that keep me going for a little pick me up. 🤍
