Trying to induce labor at home?

Has anyone tried inducing labor at home? If so, what helped y’all and how many weeks pregnant were you?

I tried everything besides castor oil with my first, she still came 40+4. Your due date is just an estimate. My suggestion is to relax as much as you possibly can bc your baby will come when they’re ready! I regret doing too much I was soooo tired in labor bc I just kept walking and having sex and exhausted myself :/

I have always induced my own labor with walking, yoga, red raspberry tea, and evening primrose oil.  This is baby number 4 and I have started doing some of them to help get ready.

Literally nothing naturally induces labor. You can do all the things you read about online but in actuality regardless of what you try the baby shows up when it’s time. It these things actually worked doctors would be telling expecting mothers to do them. There isn’t any evidence that these things work. Don’t wear yourself out trying everything, just relax and know it’ll happen when it’s time.

Walking lunges put me into labor with my last one. I was 38+3days but he was almost 9lbs so he was definitely ready

My second kid I had a pedicure the night before my babe was born! He came at 39 weeks exactly! 
This time I’m eating dates, exercise ball, watching more positive birth stories (trying to vba2c), gonna start prenatal yoga (my sis in law broke her water doing prenatal yoga lol), and more mediation type music during bath!

I tried everything with my first. Raspberry Red Leaf tea, walking, yoga, etc. still didn’t come til 40 wks + 4 days. This time I’m just chillin til baby gets here lol I am taking the raspberry tea though but that’s just to help out with the labor 👍
