Ok, am I the only crazy person who refused the TDAP? Like, I consulted with other medical people and did my own thinking on it. My Aunt who’s been practicing for 20+ years even recommended to me to not do it.

Got kind of frustrated with my doctor when she tried to convince me to do it and I explained to her why I was doing what I was doing and that I had taken some time to think on it…like, you aren’t gonna change my mind. I know why it’s given and why it’s given when it is. I did study medicine too

Edit: Since a lot of people asking it comes down to people I’ve known who’s kids have had side effects (one coworker has 3 kids, 2 of whole the wife got the shot and they have developmental issues, the 3rd no shot and no issues). Also, both my Aunt and mother refused it and we all have turned out fine and no issues post birth. I also just recently had one….
