Edit to update*** thank you everyone for everything. I am pretty certain I am miscarrying. The intense pain stopped after three days. I am on day 7 of the “period” and still a light flow. I have had some large clots and mucus in it. I did call the OB office and since I’m no longer in severe pain the only thing we can do is wait it out (waiting because I tested positive for Covid and have to quarantine…) so there’s nothing I can do and no one I can go see to confirm or anything… and if I do test in a few days after the bleeding is done it can still be positive till my HCG levels return to normal (1-9weeks)…

So my period has been REALLY odd! Flexing in flow level (mostly light) and normally it will be medium the first few days and then light the last few. I have also been having extreme vaginal pain and cramping which though I normally have both it has NEVER been this bad. I was talking to my mom about it and she asked if I took a pregnancy test and I hadn’t yet, so last night at 1a I took one since I was awake… even though it is faint, could this be a true positive? Or is this a false positive due to being on my period? I am also sick, not sure if it’s just a cold or what.. but idk if that can affect it either??

I found out I was pregnant 3 days before my missed period when I was pregnant with my son, so this is different.. let me know your thoughts!

I do plan to test in another day or so but looking for insight before then.
