Crazy to think about having a child in a pandemic?
Does anyone else ever feel a touch insane that we’re all trying to get pregnant and have a child in the midst of a global pandemic ? Or just me? Being 35 and at two plus years trying, TTC feels simultaneously futile and urgent, and illogical; especially when I hear about the struggles of friends these days who are trying to parent while working, trying to keep it together, and juggling other aspects of their lives. Does the world need more babies, more people? Why are we special enough to procreate while so many already in it suffer? Probably way too existential for the app crowd but these are the thoughts I’m struggling with lately. Maybe some of you can relate.
