How do you pronounce Zebra?

It just hit me that I've been pronouncing Zebra wrong. In Canada 'Z' is pronounced Zed not Zee.

But for some reason we say Zee-bruh here. I've been lied to it's really Zeh-bruh because of how we pronounce the 'Z'.
