21 weeks pregnant with Covid
Hey! So I just tested positive for Covid at 21 weeks pregnant. I started experiencing symptoms 3 days ago, which were very mild. It started off with a sore throat in the morning, but would be gone most of the day and today it felt like I was swallowing glass which prompted my urgent care visit (Never ran a fever, or lost my sense of smell or taste). It came back positive, and they wanted to give thought to the monoclonal treatment, but unfortunately they have since run out of that medicine and then wanted me to consider the remdesivir. At the same time, they said my symptoms are so mild, it could potentially be something I knock in a couple of days so I can opt out. With the very little research about the remdesivir and pregnancy and a nurse who said she would feel like same way as I do, I don't think I feel comfortable getting the treatment. So I guess I really just want to know what helped everyone with Covid during pregnancy? I've only had a sore throat the last 3 days
